May Bank Holiday Monday Night – Discuss with the Experts Night

Southern Hotel 7.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.  (Open to All)

As part of our ‘Improving May Month’, Thomas MacCormac and three of his Junior International Players have kindly agreed to come down and share their wisdom with us on the May Bank Holiday Monday Night.  The evening will begin as normal at 7.30 with a card game of instructional hands followed by a question and answer post-mortem session with Thomas and his star players.
Thomas is hoping to raise funds to send his promising team to the World Championships and ACBL Championships later in the year and this ‘Discuss with the Expert’ night is part of their fund raising.  The cost for the evening is 15 euro per person – and is open to all bridge players from any club or region.
If we get enough players interested, we will proceed with the event.  We don’t often get the chance to listen and learn from top players so this is a fantastic opportunity at a very reasonable price.  If you are interested please give your names to Fearghal 086-2652871 or Mairead asap.

Thank you to all who supported our Charity Drive last week in any shape or form (SHOUT and North West Hospice).  Well to Eva and her team for organising a very successful evening which raised €1000 for each charity.  Special thanks also to John Scanlon and Jim O’Malley for their help with setup.
